There's a dark side to Eva that emerged earlier in the story when she was attacked by certain members of The Blacks. I love this idea of her being bad then having to earn her good side. Daniel is shocked to see her again. In the book, it's coming up to Christmas in about a month. Maybe I'll finish the book by then.
